Frequently asked

Common questions, answered honestly.

Who is the programme for?

Navi is built for one kind of student: a 13–18 year-old who has ideas but hasn't turned them into action, and a parent who has noticed the gap between what their child is capable of and what they've actually started — who has tried encouraging them and watched nothing happen, and who wants a real launchpad, not a suggestion.

Who is Navi not the right fit for?

Two kinds of student. First, those whose project would really be a research paper, complex software, or hardware — these are real projects, but we can't mentor them well, and we'd rather say so upfront than take on students we can't serve properly. Second, students who aren't genuinely willing to do the work — the programme has structure and accountability built in, but it doesn't run itself.

What will my child actually build?

Something real and their own — a podcast, a club, an event, a campaign, an organisation, a website. We don't hand them a project. It emerges from a careful portrait of your child: what they notice that others miss, where they find flow, and where a real problem exists. That's why it gets finished.

My child doesn't know what they want to do. Is that a problem?

That's exactly who this is for. We don't ask your child what they want to do with their life — we ask what they want to build in the next two months. Direction comes from doing, not from thinking about it. Most teenagers find their footing once they start.

How much time does it take?

Eight weeks, with one hour-long 1:1 session each week plus assignments between calls — around three hours a week in total. It's designed to sit alongside school, not to compete with it.

How much does it cost?

The Founding Cohort is €600 (starting July 2026); the Second Generation is €1,000 (starting September 2026). Each cohort takes a maximum of five students. We also offer one fully funded scholarship place per cohort for a student who can't cover the cost but is ready to do the work.

What if my child doesn't launch in eight weeks?

They will — and if they don't, we don't stop. If your child completes the eight weeks and hasn't launched, we keep working with them, free of charge, until they do. That's our guarantee.

How will I know what's happening?

You'll receive a written update every week, so you always know what your child is working on and where they're growing. You're never in the dark — and you can email us any time in between.

Who runs the sessions?

Matyas mentors every student personally — eight one-hour sessions, one each week, held online over video call. Matyas and his co-founder Morris have run real youth initiatives themselves, so the guidance comes from people who have actually done it.

Does every child who applies get a place?

No — Navi is selective, and deliberately so. After the free call, students complete a short application and a brief interview, and we only take on those we're genuinely confident we can help and would love to work with. This isn't about grades or a polished résumé; it's about fit and a real willingness to do the work. We'd rather commit fully to five students than fill seats. The call itself is open to every family and carries no obligation — selection comes afterwards, and we'll always be honest with you about whether it's the right match.

How do we get started?

Book a free 30-minute call — every parent who fills out the form gets one, with no qualification and no pressure either way. We'll talk about your child, what they're capable of, and whether the founding cohort is the right fit. If it feels right on both sides, the next steps are a short application and a brief interview with your child, after which we'll let you know our decision. Because we keep each cohort small, we only move forward with students we're confident we can genuinely help.
